Love in Relationships

Confusing sexual intimacy with love is the same as listening to the politicians saying there is no such thing as global warming. Sexual intimacy can and should be magically mystically marvelous and it will always be when true love is at the core of the expression.

If you want a nice hot cup of tea you have to plug in the kettle and heat up the water until it boils and then heat the cup or mug up before adding the tea and smothering it in boiling water. In order for the water to boil in the first place energy in the form of electricity is required and then a very suitable outcome is arrived at and a beautiful refreshing cup of tea is enjoyed. Add some scones and fresh strawberry preserves and the enjoyment is even more enhanced.

Likewise loving relationships need energy or electricity but should not be available with an on off switch. The first ingredient is the perfect match and if the match is perfectly suited then the on switch is forever in place apart for personal time and other alone requirements. However it is never switched off, maybe in pause mode, but never completely off.

The daily activities of the demands of living require certain tasks that need attention whether work, home duties, car maintenance etc, but the energy that stimulates a loving relationship is always available just like the faith we have in God and we know He is always there too.

A loving relationship has to have faith in God whether one wants to acknowledge it or not for the essence is the same in trust, respect, willingness to do what it takes, observance of the others rights and recognizing the values each partner brings to the table. As a loving partner you will automatically encourage growth and just like one waters a tomato plant and fertilizes them for the benefits of an excellent harvest, so too a loving relationship demands by right an equal opportunity for growth.

There will always be better produce, better cars, more handsome men, more gorgeous ladies but there will never be another match for you when each of you put your heart and soul into the relationship.

Do not waste your partners' time if your heart is not in it and you are just filling space while you check the waters for a better person. There is no better person when you love someone and no matter how wild and steamy stories may be, the real story is how much energy are you charging your relationship with and the electrical touch of your gentleness is felt in every segment of your relationship and not just in sexual intimacy.
