An Alternative Approach to Excessive Underarm Sweating
Underarm sweating is completely natural and we all do it but for some people it becomes a problem when they sweat too much. The natural body functions of cooling and expelling waste through our skin are achieved through this process so it is not something that we should seek to stop completely.
So we need to sweat and it is an integral and important part of our bodies functioning. If you are looking to stop sweating completely for vanity reasons then you will make yourself ill by not allowing your body to do what happens naturally.
For most sufferers the causes are completely normal and include diet, stress general fitness, normal health and personal hygiene. For others the problem is more severe and usually caused by a more serious medical condition such as diabetes, malaria and cancer. In these cases the sweating will not reduce until the underlying cause has been treated.
Underarm sweating will progressively get worse if it goes untreated. The well known side effects of body odor, physical discomfort and wet clothes will continue.
There are a number of traditional approaches to stop excessive sweating
- Regular bathing and showering - this is fine but only really works for mild cases
- Antiperspirants sprays and powders - again only a stop gap solution
- Sweating tablets - work for some people but have side effects
- Regular injections - quite effective but need to be taken every 3 months
- Electrical Therapy - Very effective in some cases but does not work for all. Quite invasive.
- Surgery - very expensive and may not be successful
More recently a new alternative medicine approach to excessive underarm sweating has been developed which is showing a very high degree of success. This new approach really takes the treatment of sweat to another level and offers new hope for people who suffer from this condition.
The main advantages of using this natural approach is the lack of side effects and the disadvantages of the traditional treatment methods.
Howard Jones writes on the subject of underarm sweating which many people suffer from but few are prepared to openly discuss. http://end-sweating.com
