How To Get More Energy Today With The Not So Humble Coconut
Are you struggling to get through the day? Do you feel drained and lifeless? Are you so low on energy that you can't even be bothered to try anything new? The good news is that there is something you can do that doesn't involve much energy at all, and can soon have you feeling better. There are many ways to increase your energy and to feel better today, and coconut oil is one of them.
I could talk for hours about coconut oil and its many benefits, but I really want to let you know how beneficial it is for energy levels. Having been there in the past with fatigue myself I know that sometimes you don't even have the energy to try out new things, which is why I am excited about suggesting such an easy thing to get you started.
Very little effort is needed for you to achieve amazing results; you simply have to decide how to get it into your body. Although 3-4 tablespoons of oil is recommended per day, Bruce Fife, the author of Coconut Cures claims that even consuming half a teaspoon a day will have beneficial effects. You can add to this further by following the suggested recipes for hair and skin care too. Doing this improves you on the outside AND on the inside as the coconut oil is absorbed through your skin.
It's so easy - you can take it straight out the tub like a spread, you can melt it down and take it as a liquid, use it as conditioner, a make-up remover (which I had forgotten about and having just run out I was pleased to read that). You can add it to your cooking; it makes an excellent moisturiser. There are many more uses that I just can't squeeze into this article.
As I mentioned before, an excellent book to read to appreciate the full benefits is Coconut Cures, Preventing and Treating Common Health Problems with Coconut by Bruce Fife. It is published in the USA but in today's modern world you should be able to get it shipped anywhere. The book is featured at http://www.simplycoconut.com where you can also find out about coconut products and what to look for.
Also, try http://www.coconut-connections.com for more uses of this amazing oil. In fact, you'll wonder why you've never heard of it before.
You can buy coconut oil in good health food shops. There are different qualities and I would recommend using the very highest quality virgin coconut oil. The high grade oil will have been taken through a different process to the cosmetic coconut oil. Buy the best oil that you can afford. If you're going to try it then it's worth spending that little bit extra.
You cannot overdose on coconut oil; it is not a drug but a food. It is said to reduce cholesterol, protect against heart disease and help you to lose weight. It is well known that you are much more likely to be harmed by a coconut falling on your head than by eating one!
