How to Reduce the Severity of Atopic Eczema Info You Should Know
Eczema has different effects from one person to another which often makes it difficult to find a cure that will successfully treat everybody's condition. Treating your environment for dust mites

Dust mites are the cause of more than 90% of eczema flare ups and when taken care of in your home you can just about guarantee that your sicknesses will be few and far apart. Your biggest source of irritation will come when you leave home, but when you are at home and your home environment has been treated for dust mites you will be safe.
Controlling Itching
Eczema's itch can be mind numbing. You get this itch and you scratch it but it does not go away. It only gets worse. There are a number of things you can do besides scratching that will get rid of the itch and help you to not damage your skin.
If the itch is already in progress you will want to use the eczema bath salt treatment right away. Bath salts disinfect, rehydrate, reduce itching and inflammation, and helps skin become balanced to the correct Ph level so that it can repair itself quickly. These salts are sometimes able to relieve all traces of itching in the space of 12 - 18 minutes.
If you find yourself with out the salts, another treatment you can use is the wet wrap. The wet wrap will allow moisturizers to penetrate your skin more efficiently than if the lesions were left out in open air. The wet wrap will also provide a buffer for your skin against scratching.
These are the things you should do when your eczema flares. There are however, courses of action that you can take to prevent the flare ups from starting. It would serve you well to know and practice them.
