Another acne awareness is that you should not use alcohol based lotions and toners to clean the face. Our skin secretes natural oil called sebum that is being wiped out by alcohol based cleansers. This wiping out of the natural oil in the skin triggers some reactions in the body. When our body realized that our skin have become oil less, its initial tendency is to secrete more oil than the usual. This will just make you face oilier than ever.

Last but not the least acne awareness provided by this article is on how to clean the face. Our skin on the face, as well as the other parts of the body, should be treated gently and not to be scrubbed. Though most say scrubbing the face is okay, well, it is not. It might irritate the skin and produce more problems. Instead, you could wash you face with warm water to open the pores and clean them. Then pat you face with a dry towel. Knowing how to clean the face will be necessary to prevent acne related problems.

Acne awareness will very much help you in treating and responding with acne. Remember, our body should be taken cared of. Being knowledgeable and aware is a power that you could hold on to.
