ASHP Asks State Affiliates To Pursue Delay Of Troublesome NDC Requirement
ASHP is encouraging its state affiliates to seek a further delay in the implementation of the costly and burdensome requirement to report National Drug Code (NDC) numbers. With the six-month delay for 25 states set to expire June 30, ASHP wrote to its affiliate leaders asking them to urge state Medicaid directors to request that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services hold off from implementing the NDC rule.
