Recently a team of researchers have succeeded in developing a completely new version of 3D image in the digital age. The basic principle remains the same: shoot something from two different angles and then combines the two images so as to create a sense of depth. The resultant picture when viewed with appropriate glasses produces a 3D image. Over the last year at your local cinema, maybe you experienced 3D movies.
Dreamworks released an action/sci-fi movie called "I Am Number Four" into theaters recently. I recently watched it, and without a doubt, this was the most awesome movie I've watched in a very long time. It offered a ton of action, special effects, and drama. It honestly left me wanting more, and from the looks of it, this just might be a continuing franchise.
Universal Studios released their new drama/thriller flick called "Sanctum" into cinemas a few weeks ago. I watched it, and thought that it was reasonably nice. It was an extremely intense and emotional film. It features: Richard Roxburgh, Rhys Wakefield, Ioan Gruffudd, Alice Parkinson, and Dan Wyllie. "Sanctum" focused on a group of underwater cave divers who looked to be having a fun time when they turned up at one of the most stunning and least accessible cave systems on planet Earth.
Paramount Films came out with their Justin Bieber documentary flick branded, "Never Say Never" into theaters this weekend. I watched it, and thought it was pretty interesting because it presented a more in-depth, "behind the scenes, " look at the star's rise to popularity, and how he preserves his continual success. It features, of course, Justin Bieber, however it also displayed appearances from Miley Cyrus, his mentor Usher, Jayden Smith, Boys II Men, Sean Kingston, and rapper Ludacris.
Movies today are so expensive. It's not like being around, when you could get in to a movie theater for say thirty cents or so. Then again, watching those 3D flicks back then was more of a headache than they are today excepting maybe the prices of them. I myself was pretty lucky on this regard. All I had to do in Mountain View, California was to press my face up against the downtown movie theater's window, and someone inside would pay for me to come in.
