3 Secrets of a Profitable Product Launch

Anticipation is a powerful selling tool, and doing a full-blown product launch creates that excitement and boosts sales.

I've done a dozen launches in one of my niches and they've all been very successful. Here are a few tips I've learned that you can use right away.

1. Start by teasing your list. Tell them you are launching a new product, but don't give them all the details. Even if you know everything that's going to be included, dish it out to them in a drip like fashion.

2. Give them great content for free, leading up to the launch. Most are afraid of giving out content because they think that folks won't want the end product. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. When you give out good, usable content, you build trust. Your readers will be thinking to themselves "if he shared this... imagine what he's holding back!"

3. One of my favorite techniques is to keep adding on to the product the closer you get. Now, sometimes this is just a planned strategy. Other times it's legitimately because people on your list will get excited and give you ideas of extras you never thought of.

Many times I've recorded a bonus cd or added something close to the launch because a customer suggested it.

Adding on products as you get to the launch builds more excitement leading up to your launch day. And that excitement creates a buying frenzy as people just can't wait to get it.
