Why I Use Podcasting?

Why do I use Podcasting? I'll tell you why. I am an Internet Sales Manager and I use podcasting to get my name and my message out to potential customers. I try to keep my Podcast short and to the point. My podcasts are usually no more than 15 minutes and I discuss different topics about Chevrolet Cars, Truck and SUVs, along with Credit and other topics designed to keep the general public informed about buying a New or Pre-Owned Vehicle.

I have only been podcasting for a little less than a year and try to learn with each episode on how I can improve it. My Google rankings have been pretty good and I can credit our Internet Director, Frank Davis. Granted I haven't received much response as I would like, but I feel that over time, it will payoff and hey I really do enjoy putting them together. If you're in the Internet Business, there are several free websites where you can host your Podcasts. I have set-up mine so that people can subscribe to it from iTunes.

I do see that I have a small following, and it grows month by month. You too can probably benefit from doing your own podcast. You can make them as long or short as you want. I even have Bumper or Intro music that I have now incorporated into my Podcast to "spice" it up. Maybe someday I'll see some real results from these podcasts. Maybe you will too. Good Luck!
