How Often Should You Mail Your List?

Do you have a mailing list that you are concerned about over mailing to? This is a fine line that many Internet marketers walk when it comes to operating their email marketing business.

Another thing to consider is are you irritating your list? I know some people who do not want to mail to their list hardly at all because they are afraid to make them mad.

There are a couple things you should keep in mind when you determine how often are you going to mail.

1. Do not sell all of the time! Your credibility and reputation will be enhanced if you go out of your way to help the people on your list.

You do this by offering free things and useful information periodically. If all you are doing is selling to your list in every email that they receive, then you will irritate them and they will unsubscribe from you.

2. The second thing to consider is you do need to let your list know that you will be offering things for sale. There are people that will unsubscribe because for whatever reason they are offended when you try to sell them something.

If you are an Internet marketer that is in business to make a profit than you need to sell products online. One of the best ways to do that is to sell to a list of subscribers that you have built.

Therefore you need to balance between selling and helping the people who subscribe to your list. If you are doing a good job with this then there is nothing wrong with mailing your list several times a week.

At the very least you should mail your list every few days just to maintain contact with it. If you provide quality information they won't mind hearing from you, and you will not be irritating them.
