It's getting harder and harder to sell click-thrus today. If you're like me, you probably get about a hundred emails hammering you on the latest must-have money-making product. You've probably been hammered with 775 bonuses if you'll order through "their" link. It's sad, really. Well, here's a secret that goes totally against the grain. Ready? Okay... go against the grain.

That's it. That's the big secret.

Instead of sending out a sales pitch that hammers your subscribers over the head with a sledge hammer, just like everyone else in the crowd, try going soft-sell. You find a product that you like, you try it and you think it's of value to your subscribers. So, you join the affiliate program and you send out an email like this:

"Hey (first name),"

"I came across this item a few weeks back and thought I'd try it out. It's called the (whatever product) and I think it's pretty good. I thought you might be interested in it. If not, no big deal."

"Check it out at:
(affiliate link)

That's it.

If you've got a good reputation with your list and they trust you, they'll click on the link because of that. But that's the key. If you are giving them good content for free and have a good rapport with them, you don't need to hype affiliate items up.

And make sure you don't fall into the trap of greed. A lot of Clickbank products have 75% commissions for example. Make sure you believe in the product and have actually tried it out. It's easy to let the greed get to you, but if your customers buy and feel ripped off, you'll lose them for life.
