YOU, Inc - The Power of Branding Yourself
I don't have to tell you about the power of name recognition and its importance in business. You already know a few of the most powerful and recognizable names in the business world. Oprah. Trump. Jordan. Diddy. LeBron. Do these names ring a bell? Sure they do. They are household names! Well, you can also learn a thing or two and take your business to another level when you start to establish and grow the brand called YOU.
The single most important product that you market is yourself. Your product? Doesn't matter. Your information? Who cares? People like to join or purchase products from people that they know and that they trust. It doesn't matter if you are a guru with great information and wonderful products. If you are not known people will stay away.
Think about this for a moment. Would you do business from someone whom you just met off the streets who promised to have a secret that would make you an extremely rich man or woman? I hope your answer was no. It wouldn't make sense.
I would even go as far as to say that people don't join your business or buy your product. They join you and buy you. Take the time to really market yourself and get your name known. But, please, don't neglect to have great products or information because you can also get your name out there for being a crook. Not a good look at all. Take heed and reap tremendous success in your business.
