Start Inspiring Using Personalized Mugs - Part 2

This is a second part of Start inspiring using Personalized Mugs. Please check the first part to read the entire article.

3. The more personalized mugs, the merrier.

A personalized mug, or any gift for that matter, work best as multiples. Give away personalized mug sets consisting of several coffee cups and coordinating saucers or teaspoons. Play with colors and themes, too, so coffee drinkers in the office can enjoy their beverage together. If you have a big budget, assign a different design motif per team. Your personalized mugs, therefore, can also work as uniforms, consequently promoting solidarity in a group.

4. Turn your personalized mugs into posters.

When you think photos beat around the bush, say it straight out. Encourage employees and clients to go for their goals, and to work harder but enjoy work more. The Internet has a rich library of quotes by great people and great quotes by ordinary people, which you can imprint on a personalized mug for business clients or for your staff. But stay away from proverbial characters and banal adages. Look for inspiring words from offbeat characters. On your personalized mugs, display quotes in bold and interesting tidbits of the author in smaller font. For starters, you can put these on your personalized mugs:

* Big jobs usually go to the men who prove their ability to outgrow small ones. - Ralph Waldo Emerson, once called by his father "a rather dull scholar"

* To be successful you have to be dumb enough to think you can change the world and smart enough to know how. - Clint Borgen, former firefighter who, along with Angelina Jolie and Bono, is one of the most recognizable figures to be involved with the United Nations

* I thought it was impossible too before I did it. - Lance Armstrong, cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France winner

* Decisions are made by those who show up. - variously attributed to Woody Allen, American satire film director and writer, actor, jazz musician, comedian, and playwright, and Harry S. Truman, artillery officer who went on to become the 33rd US President.

* I can't believe that God put us on this earth to be ordinary.- Lou Holtz, the only coach in NCAA history to lead six different programs to bowl games.
